Ca approved bullets?

Which mono are you using? The Hornady ELD-X is great bullet for what it is intended for. Its intended to work great for the medium to longer range hunting space. It is a cup and core bullet with a lead core and a small internal locking ring. Its designed to mushroom at lower velocities than typical copper/lead bullets so it will kill efficiently at longer ranges.

We have killed ALOT of deer and elk with them. mainly 143 in 6.5, 175 in 7mm and 200 in 30 cal.

They all behave extremely consistent with immediate expansion - almost all of them are found on offside hide, usually losing 30-50% of weight depending on impact velocity.

They've been very consistent on the loading bench, easy to find 1/2 moa loads with load ES/SD's - terminal performance is VERY predictable in our experiences.

Filling lots of freezers with em!
