Good looking rifle! I just bought a 6.5 PRC two weeks ago. :-(
What kind of velocity are you getting with the RL25?

Gotta say, that is a beautiful rifle with a lot of what I'd choose for a semi-custom rifle.

I too have a "semi-custom" 6.5 PRC. Why is my Browning X-Bolt Pro "semi-custom"?Because Browning says it is! ;o)
Browning added a stainless barreled action, factory lapped barrel, fluted barrel, bolt and bolt handle, a carbon fiber stock and burnt bronze Cerakote on it all.

I wanted all of these things when I was going to, like you, build my ideal 6.5 PRC mountain rifle. Then, for a lot less money, I found the X-Bolt Pro.

8.4# seems pretty heavy for your component list. I expected 7.5 or so......beautiful rifle though!

It very well may be lighter then that, if I do remember with my VX6HD it was 9lbs even, I will get a better weight on it this weekend. Thanks
