I wanted a hunting/target scope and I thought that this was it.
On the weaver website, it says that it has parallax adjustment but reality proved to be a bit different... the side focus is only on 3-15 and above.
The scope was a steal at $449 I think... which is my budget.
It is way nicer, but way heavier than what I currently have.
Yardage when hunting goes from 50 yards to 150 in northern wisconsin forest crop land.
At the range, I shoot from 100-300 yards. Only occasionally will I shoot out to 500.
I shoot less than 180 rounds a year so i am willing to make some investment here, I don't care to blow apart the bank either.
If I send this scope back... which do I get?
Aside from being able to adjust for parallax, this scope ticks all the boxes, seems very well made, etc. etc. and if I didn't have it stuck in my mind that I wanted it... I wouldn't have a problem with keeping it.
The vortex that would meet the need is simply too expensive and wouldn't see the usage the price would demand. I don't know of any other scopes that come close...

Requirements:
Target Turret
Mildot or MOA reticle
Parallax adjust
Illumination if the reticle is very fine at lower magnifications
FFP
2x10
$450 or less... I don't shoot enough to justify any more.
????

Does such a thing even exist?
