I'm looking at the AG Composite Privateer and really like the weight, aesthetics and color options available (especially the blue camo). Is there a similar stock that's not quite as expensive? I'm trying build as nice as I can without breaking the bank.

Grayboe Outlander or Terrain are similar. But the cost is worth it on the Privateer as you are getting a carbon fiber stock. Some things just aren't worth being a brokedick on..... Save yer shekels.

Here is a shortened Terrain and a Privateer to compare. The Outlander is shaped more like the AG as it is straight cheekpiece. I'd sell you the Terrain to save you money. The foreend was shortened. Rem 700 M-5 bull inlet.

Getting a light weight CF stock and saving $$ is hard to accomplish. The AG privateer is actually in the reasonable price range IMO. Deals can be had occasionally, but finding one exactly like you want is not so easy.
