How much trouble getting this to feed?

Seems a shame to re tube a barrel burner before its time. I should have made my last 7 rum a 26 nosler, probably will make one in the not so distant future, or whenever brass outpaces hens teeth in existence. Granted the 2 year hiatus of reasonable prices rr donor guns hasn't helped.

Nice part of a 26 nosler is 100 pieces of brass with a hot load could equal or outlast your barrel if you aren't kind to it. So if you pull the trigger and hate it, you don't have to hate it a long time.

Does the browning care .532 vs 550 body diameter? I'm doubtful a shorter larger bore round will be harder to feed.

Talked to Kevin, he's ready to tackle the project. I received the 300 PRC magazines and now I am curious which one would work best, with either there is plenty of room for whatever bullet I choose.

26 Nosler magazine on top, 300 PRC magazine on the bottom in the first picture, definite difference in followers and feed lip geometry. The feed lips are considerably thicker than the Nosler. If it comes down to it, it appears that the guts could be swapped out if there was a feed issue.

2nd picture has the 26 Nosler magazine on bottom.

3rd has the 300 PRC magazine on bottom.

Now to get this wrapped up and get everything on the way to Kevin.

I will be ordering a McMillan Game Warden 2.0 as soon as the X-Bolt long action inlet is made available. I am using a stainless 8 twist Brux #4 twist fluted barrel that hopefully will be finished at 26" with a recessed crown, no threads.

It will have to ride in the factory composite stock until McMillan makes the inlet available.
