My wife doesn,t understand why I need so many bullets, I tell her it's like getting them on sale! She says how's that? I say twenty years from now they will be 4 times the cost , and i'll have these still at the cheaper price! You have to put it in terms your spouse can live with!

And comming soon to a realoading bench near ME, 300RUM! Yeaaaaaa!!!

My dad started me reloading when I was a kid and I continued so I could afford to shoot more. Then in the 80's I bought a Springfield Armory 10MM and in my area there was ONE box of 20 rnds available for about $23. So relaoding became a necessity. I don't know how many times I reloaded those 20 pieces of brass. A few years later I bought a Freedom Arms 454 and it was going ot be a few weeks before the dies would be available so I bought on box of 50 rnds for about $50. I am preatty sure those are the last two boxes of center fire metalic cartridges I bought.

Since then I go the sporting goods stores and they have all those pretty boxes with all kinds of strange words on them, like vital-shock. Do any of you guys know what's inside? ;-)

If 22 rim fire gets much more expensive, I'll start loading it!

I truly can't believe how expensive ammo is getting, I've been hoarding components quite a while. It's only a matter of time before our sport is too expensive for the regular guy.
