This is my first build, I have purchased a new ACIS 2.0 stock and would like to install a Stiller P1000 short action w/Shilen SS Palma contour barrel in that stock.

Anyone have any experience/recommendations regarding fit?

    THX- 217

You may want to skim bed it. But, it should fit like a glove. That's a fairly common setup amongst the long range crowd.

Some may use the term differently.

AICS has an aluminum bedding block that you might well expect to torque your action into and shoot with almost no prep.

However, applying a light coating of bedding material should help ensure a solid and stress-free fit between the action and stock.
