308nate, grit and myself went shooting last week. the famous 308nate was shooting his 7mm-300wsm shooting 180 bergers, grit shot his 300 rum with 210 bergers, mine was my 7mmwsm shooting 180 bergers. the targer was a steel plate roughly 18x24(i think). we set the target and had to drive almost 3 miles to get to our shooting position.

Here are some more pictures of the shoot. when you are looking at the rock that looks like a triangle you have to move up 1/3 of the picture and jsut to the left. the second opening in the snow. you will see our target. this was taken through the leica spotting scope. at the end of the day we let that triangle rock have some berger Lead.

Ohhhh, good stuff guys!

I wish we had more of this kind of report. I love it.

Hopefully I will be able to contribute soon :)

Man, you guys have a nice place to shoot . I would be proud of those shots !! Those are some nice looking rifles to . I'm breaking in my 300rum now , it has a 26'' broughton heavy sporter on it, i've got some 210 bergers i'm going to try . I was wandering what powder, primer load combination grit shoots ?

that steel looks like a whole bunch of fun. my boy likes exploding milk jugs right now but steel could give him another experience. thanks for sharing.

Oh yeah, i like your shootin mat!

Awesome! I wish I had a place like that to shoot. What was the range to the triangle rock? How many shots did it take to get your target dialed in?

yeah.....nice shooting mat.

Nice shooting gentlemen. I'm interested in those textured barrrels. Who did the work on those? Could I get a close up pic of them? Great stuff. Thanks for posting

Pretty sure that interupted fluting is done by 308nate himself. Go to his website to see pics of it. Staight Shot Gunsmithing

We're in North Dakota, where Santa doesn't come 'cause it's too **** cold. The barrels are Brux barrels. The interrupted fluting is a real eye catcher. The RUM was built by me. The other two rifles were built by Nathan Dagley, Straight Shot Gunsmithing, AKA 308 Nate. They are works of art!

We actually used the GPS for rangefinding. The load was 91.6 grains H1000, 215M's, and 210 bergers. Velocity was 3180. Nate'll have to tell the rest.
