Just got my new edge finished, I have never shot the chassis stocked guns well. To be fair the only ones I have ever tried where savages though no custom builds. Well I decided to try it again anyways.
Specs:
Trued Remington action (new to this build)
Krieger 29" barrel
XLR revolution stock
Nightforce Base
NF beast scope
Trigger is Remington tuned until my Bix n Andy shows up.
Dave Bruno from Dayton PA built it. I am going to try some 285 ELD hornadays with my Nosler brass. I need to try Retumbo, H1000 and RL 33.

Here's hoping I like the stock!

Love the Edge.
Hands down best prairie dog rig there is. All of mine ran the 300 SMK to 2850 with 90gr H-1000 and 94.7 of Retumbo. Of course those loads were in my rifles just a guideline.

Been shooting at hogs out too 2000+ need that big hammer LOL

Thanks guys.
Got some hornaday 285 eld match.
What's up with the BC being .789 on the early ones and .829 on the new ones??

What kind of bi-pod is that?
Got any more pictures of it?
Is it pretty stable, as far doesn't have any "wiggle" when you get it where you want it?
How much does it weigh?

:D, sorry for all the questions, the bi-pod seems to be the weak link in all of my current setups.

Sinclair tactical
17ish lbs
I will post some more pictures tomorrow. The tactical by Sinclair is great to preload and be able to stay in your shots. I have run them for a long time. They are solid I have shot some bench rest matches of them and don't feel I'm giving up any accuracy.

more pictures

93 grains of H1000 looks to be the magic load 1/4" at 100 yards 2945pfs. Now I have to try it out long!

102 gr of RL 33 with the 285 gr ELD M bullets works great in my 338 Edge

Mine has an overly short throat, that is just the way it was ordered from Dave originally set up to shoot from the magazine.
I don't load the magazine I only shoot single shot. I believe if I got the freebore out around .325 like my Lapua I think I could get the speeds up around 3100 or maybe more.

Shooter72,

Have you considered the Berger 300 otm, the BC and energy at great distances is awesome! I'm able to push them to 3010 fps out of a 28" Bartlien with very low pressure signe using RL33, ES-SD's are low as well! Best I could get with H1000 was 2808fps and it was hammering my brass.

My gun was designed with almost no throught as well, I use it to hunt with so I wanted a repeater. There's very little throught and it's working very well with the 300 OTMs.

I did try them. They just didn't perform as well as the hornadays and to be honest I am 100% sure they don't kill as well as the hornaday either.
This gun is a little weird:
Max loads:
94.5 grains Retumbo - 2935 fps ES was 18fps
102.3 grains RL 33 - 2910 fps ES was 14fps (Really surprised it wasn't faster)
93 grains H1000 (It can actually go a little more but the groups are too nice) was 2945 once fire formed they are 93.0 at 2925 and shooting even better ES is 9.

Results werent' what I would have thought.
