Trying a different approach to selling this outright. What I'm specifically looking to do is make a trade for a Mauser 98, built on either a CZ VZ24 action or an Oberndorf action, chambered in .243 Win or any of the 30-06 family of cartridges. Specifically interested in guns with extremely good overall condition of metal. Some loss of bluing is not a big deal, but the integrity of the metal (e.g. bore, bolt face, action, trigger assembly) must be very good. Alternately, would consider a Ruger Precision in .243 Win.
What I offer in trade is a Tikka T3, chambered in .270 Win, that has been converted into a tactical package. Description is as follows: Factory Tikka barrel, with ~60 rounds fired total. McMillan A5 tactical fiberglass/aluminum block stock, bedded by McMillan. Thick decelerator pad (installed by McMillan) for decreasing recoil. Carbon fiber/titanium extended bolt knob. Aluminum bottom metal, with AI magazine (actually holds 6 rounds of .270 Win). Rail above action for optics and accessories. Rail on forend for bipod and other accessories. Swivel studs fore and aft.
