WTT Model 10 338 lapua

Joe270, Why don't you just do as 338dude said?? Order you a bbl from a good bbl maker, change the bolt head and bingo, ya got what ya want.....It's a Savage very simple to do, all ya need is a bbl nut wrench and a go gauge, no need for the no go(IMHO). Put a piece of scotch tape on the go gauge, when the bolt will fall to about 1/2 closed tighten her down and go shoot your new rifle. That's how I do mine, the last one I did myself was my 25STW, the pic is how it shoots 85gr GS Custom HV bore riders at 4200+fps no pressure signs. My boy has a pic of the chrony of a load at 4330, but the bolt was a tad sticky. I can drop her back a bit more and she'll shoot a bug hole, 28" Sheilen match grade bbl .710 at the muzzle.... Just a thought for ya......
