No worries. Since these literally just came out makes me wonder. Also WRT S/N I bought a pair of Leupold binos from Midway and they just didn't seem right...found out they were counterfeit.

The Bino's have a stamp on them saying made in China. However, the box from Leupold says made in Japan.

Wee they wrapped in cellophane when you got them? I'm wondering if someone pulled a switch and then sent them back. Why go through all the trouble to make a knockoff and not even do it 100% like they do with the scopes
