Remington model 700 chambered in .340 Weatherby with a custom barrel. It has a 26" (excluding muzzle brake), #4 contour, stainless, fluted Rock Creek barrel. It has a muzzle brake and a thread protector if you do not want to use the brake. The action has been trued and is very smooth. It has an X-Mark trigger. The rifle has a Remington Boone and Crockett Laminate stock that is fully pillar bedded. There are two areas that are scuffed on the underside of the fore end- both are visible in the photo. The rifle weighs approximately 8 pounds without a scope, rings/bases. George Herold in Waynesboro, PA is the gunsmith that built the rifle. The rifle has been shot less than 25 times. I have not done any load development for it. The asking price is $1,850 shipped CONUS to your FFL. This includes a new set of unopened Hornady reloading dies. Thanks for looking. The reason that I am selling this rifle is to fund another gun build.
