Not sure of the weight but its pretty heavy. no dies. don't really want to part with any brass cause have two other guns that use it.(maybe could spare some)

Thanks,
I'm thinking it's a little too much gun for me, I was originally looking for a big 338. What do you think after shooting the 408?
Have you had good experience shooting this caliber?
What do you think it costs to shoot?
What about bullet and brass availability?
Does it fowl badly?
Hows the recoil?
Thanks

All I've done is break in the barrel and did shot some 1200yd stuff and it did that with ease.
recoil is great you could shoot it all day long. (weight and a good break)
seemed to clean very easily
do not know about brass or bullets ( haven't shot it in around 5 years)
Have been playing around with a couple of 338-408's and just don't shoot this one.
One of the 338's came with a bunch of brass so I have not bought any in a long time, so any price I give you might not be accurate with the way that stuff has gone up since last time I bought.

Very good looking rig! I'll trade ya a kidney, about all I have right now. Good luck and whoever buys this better put up a bunch of pics and range reports!
