I have for sale a Savage / Springfield Stevens single shot 22 Hornet rifle with a Vortex 2x7x35 scope. The barrel is a Savage Model 219, 26" long, drilled/tapped with one piece Tally ring mount and iron sights still on barrel. Good bluing, light weight set up, powerful ejector, 1-16 twist, good shooter. . .7/8" five shot groups using factory Winchester 46 gr. SP or PPU 45 gr. SP ammo ! ! ! The action and butt stock / fore grip are from a Springfield Stevens Model 94B with nice color case harden receiver, crisp trigger/hammer, tight lock-up with no play and smooth action lever, stock and fore grip have nice checkering. This rifle has scratches and wear on the stocks, action and barrel from use over the years. . .it has no factory serial numbers which leads me to believe it is from the late 1950's to 1960's era. The scope is a Vortex Diamondback with Dead Hold BDC reticle, it has only been mounted to this rifle and is in perfect to new condition with the factory box, lens covers, paper work and warranty information all together.
