A1680 will help it cycle with subs. You'll probably end up somewhere between 11.4-12.4 gn with a 220. 11.8gn gets me 1050 FPS from an 8" AR upper, and it cycles. Mine cycles with an H2 buffer and a nonadjustable gas block. https://hammerbullets.com/product/308-cal-101g-hammer-blackout/ With ~19gn of H110. They'll get sent in a hurry. I don't waste good bullets like SMKs on a short barreled AR at the range. Berrys work great to mess around with. TreMOR3 is great for this with the wind dot system since you only have to worry about the vertical holds, wind is consistent. Or since it's nighttime hunting get an NV/thermal with a laser. I tested my ATN out to 275 yards with the laser - click, shoot, hit. Drop it back to 50 and it zeros again. Run it out to the next yard line - click, shoot, hit. Nothing to it. Just need to run bullets designed to expand at subsonic speeds. I use Makers, but Leheigh makes them also. https://makerbullets.com/proddetail.php?prod=308220SBLK
