Looking at a TC ICON in 30TC but would prefer a 7-08. Must be wood stock and nice looking since this is for my wife.
General question though; the one in 30TC at a local shop is a limited run with a special laminated stock. Lipsey's had some like this 7-08. In handling the rifle (NIB), I noted that the bolt is extremely hard to lock down in place. I have read that this is not uncommon. Does anyone have this experience and can it be smoothed out? Otherwise it's a beautiful rifle even though a little heavy.
