WTB SW 25-5

if you aren't familiar with the 25-5 a LOT of them have very oversized throats in the cylinder and a good amount of them have a constriction in the forcing cone. The throats will be around .458-.459" and the forcing cone around .450". Lead bullet nightmare and lackluster to awful with jacketed bullets. The forcing cone can be fixed and then it will shoot jacketed bullets ok. The cylinder is what it is. You can make a bump die and swage the cast bullets up to throat diameter or cast at the correct diameter, as long as the forcing cone is good they will shoot pretty well. I dumped all 3 of mine maybe 15 years ago, I should have kept one, I think if you got one without the issues it wound be hard to argue it wasn't the best cartridge for an N frame ever.
