Sightron discontinued the 3-9x36 Big Sky when they reconnoitered their whole scope line.
I had one on a 17HMR that my son now owns. I liked the scope. Small, light, excellent glass, front AO. Perfect for a rimfire. I like the Big Sky scopes. Consider them a good value if you buy them at discounted prices. They have there niche IMHO. All that said, Kahles is my favorite!

I do like sightrons for good glass and being light weight. I have an original prostaff 3-9 on my HMR, and its a squirrel head poppin SOB to 100yds(my furthest) dispite the lack of parallax adjustment. Too bad that gun is still in ohio (no need for it in NM) otherwise it would be sporting that 3.5-10 big sky. Good luck w/ your search.
