Looking to buy an older cast iron benchrest, baldeagle when made in Pa, also Hart or sinclair or other.

I have that same rest for 25 yrs now, but it is not going to work for competitive BR

]Wow, you are reading my mind, I am on that page from Midway as I got notified you responded. I am looking around just in case I cant find an old one, I just think they will be made better.
Anyway anyone have any experance with this rest.

Yeah, I have one. The pad that came with mine originally wasn't wide enough for my bench rest stock. I bought a leather covered one from "Protektor" to replace it. Otherwise it's perfect for my needs. Heavy, stable, adjustable, legs are adjustable and pointed so they dig in to the shooting bench (no creep from recoil).

I bought a rest today, its an older bald eagle, which is just what I was looking for.
