Sent my 1970 BAR to a gunsmith and when it was returned it had a broken stock. I've looked in the usual places so I'm hoping for some help from this forum. Wood or synthetic ( I'll need a forearm) is fine. I'd also appreciate any leads.
Thanks!

Just a fyi on the Boyd's I had one made for a bar sent them the make model cal etc
And it's fit was terrible now it looked great but I call them they said send it back on my dime they check it I said I send the org stock so can match it they would not let me
So it cost me another 300 to get a gun smith to make it work

Now there bolt action are usually fit great
But I own 7 bar and would never get a Boyd's for them again
Just my experience

Have you checked Midwest gun works

Neither Boyds nor Ramline make a Type 1 stock for a BAR. I checked Midwest Gunworks, Alhmans Numrich and all the usual but no luck. I'm thinking my best bet is to find an old gunsmith with one stashed away.

I'am in the same boat have a MK II in 7mm RM that was the wife's rifle cut 1 1/2" off the butt for her to use....she quit hunting now and would like to find a stock to replace it.....

Check EBAY and Broker. I've seen a few of those in my search.
