SOLD/EXPIRED Will Zeiss retrofit reticles?

Anyone know if Zeiss will change reticles in a scope?

If so, what does it cost? Where do I send it?

I have had Zeiss scopes for years and they will retrofit reticles. I think you pay $75 plus shipping. They will do it in a couple weeks. Zeiss offers excellent customer service.

Don't know what reticle you are wanting to go with, but the following quote is from the Zeiss web site.


Retrofitting Rapid-Z® ReticlesPlease be advised that there is currently no available option to retrofit the ZEISS Rapid-Z® reticles into previously purchased ZEISS riflescopes with a standard reticle. This is to ensure that customers who want to purchase a new ZEISS riflescope with the Rapid-Z® reticle are given priority attention. We thank you for your understanding.

Obviously Zeiss believes if they retrofit old scopes it will hurt sales of new scopes. They're probably right.
