Wild West Guns Co Pilot Take Down .457 Wild West (also shoots .45 - 70s).
Nice wood, Parkerized coating, Wild West Ghost Ring sight, 18" barrel, ported. Also have Wild West Trigger Happy Kit (Wild West 2 or 3# trigger) New in Package.
Has a scratch on the barrel, see pix and two miniscule marks on the wood near the recoil pad on the right side of the butt stock. Been elk hunting a couple times but that's it.
.457 Wild West shoots a 350 grain bullet at 2200 fps vs. 2000 for a .450 Marlin with the same bullet and has 3760 ft. lbs. of energy at the muzzle vs. 3108 ft. lbs. for a .450 Marlin with the same bullet.
Very accurate at 200 yds. with Ghost Ring sight. A rifle I just don't use much.
