My wife has a toyota wagon, it's about as basic a 4 door front-wheel drive generic toyota as it gets. Gets 33 mpg, rides nice and if I really pack it all my tools can fit in the back. Technically it works as my work truck, I've even used it on jobs requiring a ferry ride that was big $ per foot just to get to the site. If I need bulky materials, have to drive down a long deep snowy road, or have need of more tools the truck gets pulled out. Now the cummins pushing 35s with an 8 foot bed isn't as efficient in either fuel or cost per mile... but I've moved loads it's bed heavier than the aforementioned toyota. 6.5 prc works on paper, in the dead calm, on a mild temperature day with perfect form. Add in all the realistic variables normally occurring in real world 2000 yard shooting.... then the big boomers hit their stride. The prc is like the toyota, works fine as intended and can be pushed. In reality very few who really push for 2000 are going to turn down the bigger gas tank behind the bigger pills. Once you lob big pills over big powder you realize it's a whole 'nuther ballgame. Old adage was b.c. over velocity importance, now it's b.c. plus velocity even more true at 2000.
