Then buy him a boresnake for a Christmas present so he does less harm to the gun in the future.</p><p></p><p>I also agree with the Tubbs Final Finish recommendations if he wants to smooth out the bore & reduce that copper fouling. Helps accuracy, too (but it can't fix a bad crown!)</p></blockquote><p></p>
