It's a great rifle. With a good scope it would be a wonderful elk or moose rifle.
I bought a used Weatherby Alaskan in .300 Weatherby (almost the same gun). If I didn't already have mine & would be making an offer on yours!
Lots of people want 5 1/2 pound rifles because they are easier to cary. This rifle will be easy to SHOOT well. That's what matters.
