I have already posted this once but still trying to find a Stevens/ Savage bolt action for a rifle I am building. Not really wanting to pay new price so just trying to find a good used one.

Might help to specify whether you want a long action or short action. What size bolt face you looking for?

I'm wanting to build a 308. Want to build something I can hunt anything with and not have to worry about distance.

I have a stevens 4.40 short action with a criterion savage varmint taper barrel in 308 win. It is sitting in a bell and carlson medalist tactical stock. Has a sss competiton trigger and a nightforce 20 moa base. I hardly shoot it anymore since having my 6.5 creedmoor built. Let me know if your interested.
