Depends on the task at hand. Hunting to a mile or steel to 2 miles. For target the 375 projectiles have come a long ways in the last few years.

The frangible 375 bullets are coming along ways too! I wish berger would make a 350gr EH hunter !!!! oh how a guy can wish!! also the CEB Lazers work very well. Chinchaga is making some very interesting 375 lead core bullets

Yes, true. But to me a 375 is all about distance and how long we can keep it supersonic and still retain decent barrel life.
My 338 had great expansion on a black bear at just short of a mile. I will have to see the same thing from any bullet at those impact velocities before I will hunt with it.
I am going to corner Eric at Shot in a few weeks and see if there is a Cup Core .375 on their radar. Small market I would say, but we can always wish.
