Units 10, 10a, and 12

The country is as broad as your question. 10 and 10a have a lot of logging roads. Generally the country is rugged, mostly timbered and sparsly populated. 12 is generally horse or backpack country. More pack trails and few roads. Very rugged along the Lochsa breaks. Once you climb the 4 or 5 miles out of the river face it, the tops are less severe but still some tough country. Get an Idaho Atlas Gazetter by Delorme or order some Forest Service maps of the areas. I have bow and rifle hunted in all 3 areas. Narrow it down some and I might be able to give you specifics if you are interested some of the places I'm familiar with.
