Got the itch for another new toy so this ones on the chopping block. Stainless tikka t3x action, upgraded trigger spring, tikka stock with both grips, limbsaver recoil pad, #2 contour stainless 9 twist shilen cut at 23",150 pieces of Peterson brass, rcbs dies. Rifle has been fired 94 times. As you can see from picture it shoots really good. That was the best group I've shot in my life. Usually it's a 1/2-3/4" gun with a 10x scope. $1450 shipped for the package. Add another $400 if you want the talleys and leupold vx3hd 3.5-10x40

Only have a bathroom scale. With scope bathroom scale is saying just over 7lbs.

Can't speak for him but a T3x with a #2 barrel at 23" can't be more than a hair under 7 pounds.
I'm building a 284 Win hunting rifle now with a slightly heavier barrel on remington 700 action and it'll cost that when all done.
Really a wonderful all around cartridge! You can load light 100-120 grain fast and flat to shoot prairie dog and coyote or heavy and go to big game with 175-180 grain.

Seems to be some confusion when I say shot 94 times but show 150 pieces of brass. 100 of those brass are brand new
