Lh Boyd's Stock I bought a LH Boyd's stock for my Encore about a year ago. I found that the stock absorbed some of the recoil in my hand(taking some off my shoulder). The stock also increased my accuracy off the bench, and made me a better shooter off hand. I have since switched several other stocks over to thumbhole style. The stock's seem to be stronger than a regular stock. I also believe the stock has helped my hunting accuracy. One of my rifle's has a slightly less beefy grip, and it can be shot with your thumb in the hole-or not. It can also be shot off handed and it is not uncomfortable. Tom.
