Yes,,, we have the same problem pinning down what causes the loss in habitat here in Northern / Western Canada... Some say it's humans,,, Wolves,,, domestic Dogs,,, Cougars,,, packs of Coyote,,, Eagle,,, Owls,,, Hawks,,, Falcons,,, Grizzly Bears,,, ATV's,,, Snowmobiles,,, Air Planes,,, Helicopters,,, Rock Slides,,, Winter time Avalanches,,, Earth Quakes,,, Inland land River flooding,,, swamps and marshes,,, powerful wind storms that topple Hector of forests in one sweep... Oh,,, and forest fires and the smoke that's produced since it affects the calving season,,, let's not forget about ticks and bugs along with parasites and sub articles cold temps that last for months a-possed to weeks... Cars,,, trucks,,, and trains... Pretty sure there are at least another 1000 if not 10.000 other factors that we don't know about... I like what the old guy said,,, there's no one root cause that affects the situation,,, its all of them over a long period of time at unknown intervals that """Might""" play theatre into the loss of habitat... Its easier to blame one or more things even though we don't understand what the root cause was for each fatality... Just because this is the case for this dosen't mean it's the same for the next since reputation is ever changing. Cheers from the North
