Pictures taken 1 week apart same herd of bulls
The second one back in the first picture was last year a royal that looked like you could put a glove on the end of each main beam and was a 6x6 not counting the palmed out mains so that would be my choice for a trophy they are Roosevelt's so they are huge elk but the rack on that one was so bit the bull itself didn't look that big if that makes sense to youWow they are growing fast. Thank you for sharing. Which one has your name on it
Thanks ill be sure to share some more here once the velvet is offYes that makes sense to me. That would be awesome to see. I not only enjoy hunting elk, I never get tired of looking at them. Have seen a few Roosevelt but Rocky Mountain are the ones in my part of the world. Great pictures

I. Prety lucky i think to have these guys walking around in my office. I build roads for a logging company in western British Columbia and there are alot of beautiful Roosevelt elk around almost more than out little blacktail deerThank you very much for sharing this. I look Forward to future pictures.
Its almost unbelievable how hast they grow its like you could sit and watch them build a rackI recall reading a few years back that velvet antlers are the fastest growing tissue in the animal kingdom. Your pics certainly support that. Thanks for sharing them.
