I bought a Thermion 2 XQ - 38 for hunting hogs in Texas. In industry reviews it was reported to be the finest entry level thermal on the market.
As things would have it, we decided to fly to our pig hunting destinations and to use the ARs provided by the outfitter. Flying out of JFK with firearms can be quite a hassle.
At any rate - I have a new thermal in the box which was only sighted in but was never afield. I think we will continue to fly and use the outfitters equipment. I bought the optic from Legacy Outdoors (link below) and I'm offering the unit at a good discount. I also have a custom made neoprene scope cover which is in the pictures, which I'll add.
$2,800
