The Mauser 3000L was made by Heym for Mauser. They are nice rifles and will bring somewhere between $600 -$800+ depending on the mood of the buyers and on the market. The Model 3000L is a push-feed tubular steel action (ala Rem[URL='http://rd.bizrate.com/rd?t=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.brownells.com%2Frifle-parts%2Fstock-parts%2Frifle-stocks%2Frem-700-la-adl-stock-sporter-fiberglass-gray-sku409000002-72813-44977.aspx%3Fcm_mmc%3Dcse-_-Itwine-_-shopzilla-_-409-000-002%26utm_medium%3Dcse%26utm_source%3Dconnexity%26utm_campaign%3Ditwine%26utm_content%3D409-000-002&mid=158466&cat_id=9028&atom=9168&prod_id=&oid=6107822225&***=1&b_id=18&bid_type=9&bamt=be85fa8f6ad737f6&cobrand=1&ppr=1ec7eb8571f24190&af_sid=73&mpid=409000002-409000002-10902&keyword=rem%20700&rf=af1&af_assettype_id=10&af_creative_id=2975&af_id=615103&af_placement_id=1'] 700) with a welded-on recoil lug, rather than a forged steel action with an integral recoil lug of the 96 - 98 Mausers. The 2000, 3000 and 4000 models were made to change the market perception of Mauser actions/rifles and to save manufacturing costs. This doesn't make them collectible and since very few entered the U.S. market, parts are a little hard to find. Personally, I would sell it and get what you want. Regards.
