Not to derail your thread but curious as to what happened to your barrel? Sucks when you let someone borrow something and they break it. I've got a .50cal Encore and it's killed about as many deer as any other gun I have!

He basically shot it a few times and reloaded it and left it in his garage! Barrel rusted up and the breech plug is basically welded in! I've tried everything i can think of to get it out!Not to derail your thread but curious as to what happened to your barrel? Sucks when you let someone borrow something and they break it. Not much was said on his end. I told him it was toast and he owed me a new one. He hasn't said a word about it since. Lesson learned on my end. Won't lend any equipment any more!

How about acetone/ atf fluid 50-50 mix and let it sit in a container soaking overnight.
