Up for grabs is a custom Remington 700 7mm Rem Mag with early compensated Sendero barrel bedded in a McMillan HTG m40 long action woodland camo stock. The scope is a pre Mark 4 black ring Leupold Vari-x iii 3.5-10x40 Long Range Tactical. I know it has a custom trigger too bit I have not taken it apart to inspect. Comes as pictured with Harris LM bipod, 54" leather match sling and jeweled action. Barrel is approximately 27" with added compensator. AQ barrel date code March 1996.
I got this from my uncle several years ago. He had it built then decided the big 7 was too much then went to a .260 wildcat. It is a true safe queen and looks new too. The rifle came to me with 6 partial boxes of ammo which I believe to be the actual round count.

I do not known the gunsmith who assembled it or have a build sheet/reciept unfortunately. He states this rifle was his big pre y2k purchase.

Tomorrow AM I will take better pictures as I don't like what I took today. I'll also add a proof of life pic.

For everything as pictured asking $2700 shipped from an individual to your FFL.
Happy hunting

Better pictures and proof of life.
I talked with my uncle today, he said he had it built at a shop in Wyoming and mentioned both Casper and Cody as being the possible location. He also confirmed the round count to be >100.

A couple questions, weight? And how does it shoot?
It weighs about 12lbs as pictured. The winchester Supreme 150 were his preference as per the writing on the boxes. He also tried 165 supremes, 165 corelokt and 150 gr Hornady. All about 20+ years old.

Has there been any blueprinting work or anything done? Looks like a factory barreled action in a McMillan stock, just trying to find the "custom" work on it.

I have ask him to look thru his gun records again for me. I am going on what my he told me. I know you are supossed to buy the gun not the story. He claims it he bought the rifle pre y2k on the way to Yellowstone on vacation, my aunt found shortly after out and spent the same amount on a new computer. He said not to take less than $2500.

I will take it apart and look for a maker's mark in the bedding and find out what the trigger is.

No offense taken ;)

Thanks for the interest and replys.
