Barnes TTSX bullet.....right through both lungs. He never got up and expired within 30 seconds. </p><p> </p><p>LK Ranch is a special place......did a bunch of research prior to pulling the trigger on this hunt. Property (14k acres), lodge, guide, food, land management, ownership.....all were top notch. They won the Ranching for Wildlife award in Colorado in 2012 for a reason. I saw over 500 elk while there in 3 days, with more than 40 bulls/spikes. I counted over 15 water tanks on the property, so that means there were probably 2 - 3x that amount I didn't see. </p><p> </p><p>I highly recommend this property/hunt for anyone looking for a quality Elk hunt for a reasonable price.......the last 3 years (since new Guide took over) they have recorded a 100% success rate on 5x5 or better bulls.</p></blockquote><p></p>
