May help. But when I first read your post I saw 1.66lbs and was frustrated because they advertise 23oz.

Your scale is showing 1lb 6.6oz (or 22.6oz) which makes it one of the lighter VG CF stocks. I have same one in the "hunter" style and am pleased thus far. Glad I took a second look and noticed it isn't 1.66lbs.

Well now that I read my post that's exactly what it sounds like! You are right it weighs 22.6oz…it's very light and stiff

Thanks for the info on the weight. That helped push me over the edge to buy it. Hard to find a stock sub 23ozs.
