Good shoot'n and great groups. I switched over and tried the Shockwave bullets when they first hit the market. They were accurate but, performance on deer was nothing short of miserable. The "pencil hole" problem is something that I've seen a lot of. I shot two does early that year and both went further with great shots, which penciled through. The same season and after I took the does, I had a perfect shot at a 160+, from a blind and standing in the same spot I'd shot many from. Long story short, that bullet penciled through and the deer made it to another property, where an invited guest seen it drop and claimed it. Nothing I could do when the buck was on another's property. I switched immediately back to Barnes and won't shoot anything else. I shoot (or used to) very often but, limit shots to 250yds. I've burned up 4,000 rounds a year. Nothing like it IMO and can't wait to get back shoot'n. However..... I had to have emergency surgery on my shoot'n eye last Tuesday, for a detached and torn retina. The eye is full of gas, which may take months to completely disappear. Fortunately the tear wasn't in the center part of my vision, so no scars to worry about when trying to shoot. Keep up the shoot'n but, post some target pics. Looking forward to a video.
