Negative, 300 win mag necked down to 7mm

I am really thinking about one of these.

Yes, pretty much.
I think the only difference is this is a straight neck down of 300 win to 7mm. Case dimensions stay the same.
The 7mm practical has different case dimensions and shoulder angles, requiring fire forming. I could be wrong.

I have been trying to figure out which one is which.
Do you think that the 7/300 is easier to deal with than the 7 practical?

7/300 would be easier in my mind. No special dies, no fire forming
