According to Seekins the hole is basically pre drilled on the and I just have to finish the knockout and install hardware. The spacing is set for their 2" srs rail. Here is the pic they attached. It looks like a special nut or maybe they just flattened the sides of the t nut. I should find out today at the Western Hunt Expo because I think they have a booth.

Upon further inspection it's just a T nut that has been ground down in 2 sides.

Digging it up. Just got my 6.5 prc and loaded 50 rounds to get started with some groups.

Loaded 54 gr of h1000 and seated Berger vld140s .01, .04, .07, and .1 off the lands. I shot groups from .68 to .35 MOA. She liked them at .01 off the lands. It's a tack driver just need to play with velocity at this point. I was getting around 2715 so there is alot of room to speed up. Velocity wasn't the goal today anyways.

Only complaint is the feeding is mediocre on the longer rounds. I'll see if I can get that figured out. She might just prefer the rapid bolt. Overall I'm very happy with the rifle. Action was definitely rough but it's breaking in nicely.

Side note*

Anyone contemplating a mark5 hd. I dropped one on the Havak and was not dissapointed. The zero stop is pretty slick and she dialed flawlessly. I have to say I'm very impressed with the glass as well, as I should be for that price.

Just picked up a Havak in 6CM. Scooped it up for $1750 shipped from Mile High Shooting. She sure is pretty! I was expecting the action to be a little more stiff from reports, but it's actually very smooth out of the box. I'm impatiently waiting for my NXS 5.5-22 to arrive and then I'll be hitting the range.

Anybody more range reports for the 6.5PRC with factory ammo? I have a PH1 in 6mm creed that loves factory 108 eldm.... I'd like to Pick up a big brother in 6.5 PRC.

Mine shoots good with the 143 ELDX about .5 -.6 for five shot groups - getting 2966 FPS. - I get a little better speed and accuracy with handloads, but would have no problem sticking with the factory ammo.

My brother in law bought one in the PRC, I've only seen him shooting it the first time he took it out with the Hornady match 147's but we walked it out to the 1140 yd steel plate within 15 - 20 shots, it shot 1/2" @ 100yds, we did not have the chrony set up on it so i can't say what the speeds were, I have the 28 nosler in the Havak and love it, and his made me want a PRC, lol

Factory 147 ELDM at 300yds prints 1.4" (~0.5moa) groups for me. Reloading with RL26 I can get it down to 0.2 moa groups. Speeds for factory are at 2875fps and 3020fps for hand loads. Over got 400 rounds down the barrel.
