Guys, I have a med Palma bartlein barrel. Looking at mounting an NXS 5.5-22x50 scope. My question is which size Talley rings would be best fit. These will have to be ordered online due to no one locally carrying them. Otherwise I could just go and have them test fit. Curious if anyone on here has any experience with a similar setup.

You should be safe with .886 or .900. The badger ordnance .823's would be too low for a 50mm, but they're great for a NF 2.5-10x42mm!

What height base are they going on? 20 MOA picatinny rail? Talley bases?

I can say that a NF 20 MOA base and their low rings (.885) clear a NXS 3.5-15X50 scope on a savage fluted bull barrel. I think it's #4 or 5 contour.

Leupold bases and their High rings cleared the same scope on the same gun. But believe it or not, the NF base and rings sits the scope about .10" higher despite the "low" name for the NF rings.
