Thinking of a different scope for my go-to hunting rifle and although this scope isn't as compact as i'd prefer, it still perks my interest.

Has this scope been mounted on a rifle and if so, how did it perform and for how long have you owned it?

Also, I am not a fan of particulary thin reticles as I have some retina issues which make it hard for me to see "really fine" cross hairs. How do these look (generally) to you?

Finally, if I decide to move on another scope, what is the absolute bottom line on this one? I would be replacing a Kahles which is a fine scope but doesn't have the flash dot feature which would be helpful.
