Picked this up and shot it a little bit. I was going to turn into a lightweight rig, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get around to it. Might be better to have the room in the safe at this point. Rifle is a stainless Savage 16 LWH in 308 Win. Scope attached is a Vortex Viper 4-16x44 BDC, SFP, MOA. I also have a PTG short action magnum bolt face that will sell separate only after rifle sells. Rifle has shot around MOA with factory 150 SST, a little better than MOA with a load developed for another rifle, and about .5 MOA with 151 AH. Is the barrel threaded by chance and what would be the barrel contour, approximate.
