Savage 110 ba .338

I'm about to be the owner of a savage 110 BA in 338 Lapua.I want to start at 600 and work out to 1200 yds.Anyone have suggestions for bullet and load choice? 1 in 9 twist btw
It's my first experience with such a big beast so I do not know where to start

300 gr bergers and H1000 or RL33.
