I have a Ruger 77/22 that I have owned for 25+ years. Full stainless with stainless Tasco 3-9. Has mostly sat for the last 15 years in a case. Just have it a clean and polish. Good shape but was used. I am the only owner. Does have iron sights.
Not sure on the value. I see them all over the map. Asking $850 with scope, rings and soft case. Would like to get into a long range 22lr. Thought about building this one up but decided to leave it unmolested and original.

Sweet rifle. I recently made the same decision, went with a Christensen Ranger it's a sweet little squirrel gun but a touch light for "long range". It's was extremely close to the price of a new stock and barrel.
