RL22 or RL26 for 300wm?

New poster, long time lurker. I felt compelled to comment on the above It does produce impressive velocity but it is definitely faster in burn rate than RL-25 - much closer to RL-22, in fact. It builds pressure differently and seems to be very well-suited for use in large capacity cases, but it is absolutely not in the same burn rate neighborhood as RL-22

I've used RL-26 in my 257--270--7mm Weatherby mags and have the same opinion. It is much closed to RL-22 in burn rate than RL-25. But it does produce impressive velocity.

I get 3,300+ fps quite easily with a 105 Hybrid out of my .243 AI with RL-26 and that load is no where near max in my rifle.

Been using H1000 for years. My go to load was always 79gr pushing a 180gr accubond. That load has killed a bunch of critters.

Nice speed in the Weatherby chamberings, I'll bet.

I get 3,300+ fps quite easily with a 105 Hybrid out of my .243 AI with RL-26 and that load is no where near max in my rifle.

Got the best velocity increase in my 257 Wea mag. Max loads got me 3375 ft/sec with the 117 gr Sierra. From a 24" barrel this is real good.
In my 7mm Wea I got 3128 ft/sec with the 175 gr Hornady Interlock from a 26" barrel
In my 270 Wea I got 3194 ft/sec with the 150 Gr Interlock from a 24" barrel.

It is most certainly a welcome powder to anyone's powder locker, but IMO it will not render all other slow burners obsolete
