Rifle barrel heat mirage deflector...

I have seen pictures where shooters have fashioned a barrel cover using a window blind slat attached to something beneath the scope. Is there a commercial made product such as this? What does the blind slat attach to? Any pictures and discriptions will be appreciated by all who suffer with mirage problems.
