I picked up a new 700P .308 earlier this year and had gunsmith (Chuck's Firearms) in Atlanta true up receiver, bedded recoil lug, cut barrel down to 20", recess crown, smooothed out action and trigger and I painted it urban GAP camo with 4 coats of flat clear(very durable).
I took it to range once with factory 168 FGMM and below is target. Great shooter and looks awesome. I picked up a custom heavy barrel 308 and don't need two.
$1000 with Meopro 3.5-10x44 (NIB) scope and Badger Ordinance rail and Warner Rings.
